Oud, Attar to be sold using global metric system

Starting February, perfumed oils or 'Oud' will be sold in grams or millilitres in the UAE.

The Emirates Authority for Standardisation and Metrology has made it mandatory for perfume dealers to shift from the currently used traditional measuring system - 'Tula'. 

The decision was based on a Cabinet Resolution.
