His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the UAE National Olympic Committee, has officially inaugurated the 11th edition of Gulfood Manufacturing at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Running until November 6, the global food and beverage manufacturing event has attracted a record number of producers, innovators, technology leaders and industry experts.

Sheikh Mansoor said the event serves as a key platform for accelerating the smart and sustainable transformation of the food industry.

He praised the innovative, environmentally friendly solutions on display, including advanced manufacturing systems and sustainable technologies, noting that the exhibition reflects a spirit of collaboration and innovation.

Gulfood Manufacturing 2025 highlights the Middle East’s growing role in AI-driven production and advanced food technologies, supporting the UAE’s goal to increase local food production by 30 per cent by 2030.

During the opening, Sheikh Mansoor toured several company and country pavilions, meeting with participants and exploring the latest industry innovations.

FoodTech Summit

The exhibition features a series of specialised events, most notably the FoodTech Summit, which brings together experts from leading international companies to explore the future of the food industry, the intersection of innovation, investment and policy, and the event’s role in shaping the food manufacturing landscape for the next decade.

The exhibition comes at a time when the global food processing market is projected to grow significantly, reaching $318.29 billion by 2034, with artificial intelligence driving growth through automation and machine learning across various stages of production.
