Abu Dhabi Crown Prince joins BRICS Leaders Virtual Summit

His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, has taken part in the BRICS Leaders Virtual Summit, hosted by Brazil’s President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.

Sheikh Khaled represented the UAE on behalf of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. 

Delivering the UAE’s address, Sheikh Khaled conveyed the President’s greetings and praised Brazil’s leadership of the BRICS group this year, especially the outcomes of the recent summit in Rio de Janeiro.

He highlighted BRICS as a vital platform for global cooperation, aligning with the UAE’s commitment to building strong economic partnerships and promoting sustainable development.

The summit focused on enhancing trade, infrastructure, energy and digital transformation among member states, while also addressing global economic challenges.

Leaders from China, Russia, Egypt, South Africa, Iran, Indonesia, India and Ethiopia also participated in the high-level discussions.
