UAE set for crunch World Cup qualifier against Saudi Arabia

The UAE takes on Saudi Arabia tonight in a crucial 2018 World Cup qualifier. The match at Jeddah’s King Abdullah Sports City Stadium is set to kick off at 9pm UAE time. Mahdi Ali’s men currently trail Saudi Arabia by two points in Group A and a win will see them top the pool. The UAE kicked off their qualifying campaign with a 1-0 win over East Timor and then thrashed Malaysia 10-0, before being held to a 1-1 draw by Palestine. Only the group winners are guaranteed a spot in the next round.
