Sichuan Jiuniu FC join Abu Dhabi's City Football Group

City Football Group have added another club to their portfolio.

The Abu Dhabi-owned company has teamed up with UBTECH and China Sports Capital to buy Chinese third-tier outfit Sichuan Jiuniu FC.

 

It comes as part of the group's expansion efforts into China and further extends their global football footprint.

 

Sichuan join English Premier League champions Manchester City, US side New York City FC, as well as teams from Australia, Japan, Spain and Uruguay in the City Football Group stable.
