The Philadelphia Eagles have taken a share of the lead in the NFC East after beating the New York Giants this morning. Although they weren’t able to repeat last season’s shut-out of the Giants, the Eagles defence was still crucial in the 27 points to 7 win. The Eagles took the ball away from Giants possession three times, including Nolan Carroll’s touchdown from an Eli Manning interception. It moves the Eagles to 3 and 3, and ties them with the Giants in the division.
