Neymar stripped of Brazil captaincy

MAURO PIMENTEL / AFP

Neymar will not captain Brazil in next month's Copa America.

He'll be replaced by Paris St-Germain teammate Dani Alves.

The 27-year-old has been in the spotlight for disciplinary issues both on and off the field.

Earlier this month the forward was banned for three matches after he hit a fan following PSG's defeat in the Coupe de France final.
