Heyneke Meyer has stepped down as South African Rugby’s Head Coach. Meyer says he will not be renewing his coaching contract when it expires on December 31 this year. After he led the Springboks to third place in the 2015 World Cup there were renewed calls for him to be fired. South African Rugby Union (SARU) officials say the search for a successor will begin immediately.
