Caleb Ewan won stage 11 of the Tour de France after edging a thrilling bunch sprint finish in Toulouse.
Despite seeing his usual lead-out man, Jasper De Buyst, fall into a ditch just kilometres from the finish, the Australian pipped Dylan Groenewegen on the line to claim his first-ever stage win.
Julian Alaphilippe retained the yellow jersey as leader of the general classification while defending champion Geraint Thomas remains second after a safe finish in the peloton.
Stage 12 is a 209.5 kilometre route from Toulouse to Bagneres-de-Bigorre, the first time in this year's race that the riders will enter the Pyrenees.
