Mikel Arteta, Manchester City's coach, may move back to the Arsenal camp soon.
This comes after Arsenal held talks with City over his availability.
"He will not be stopped, if he decided to leave," said City's manager, Pep Guardiola.
Mikel has been a part of City's coaching team since July 2016 after retiring in the same year.
Meanwhile, Everton, who have been without a permanent manager since December 6, have also shown an interest in the former Arsenal midfielder.
