A 1986 untitled masterpiece by much-loved oil painter Bob Ross has gone under the hammer.
The 1986 original untitled work of art, personally signed by Ross, is one of the artist's signature mountainous works and is a rare lot as the vast majority of his paintings have never been made available for purchase.
The 18-by-24 inch painting includes the artist's iconic mountain scenery with a wood cabin, trees, and "happy clouds".
Ross' wet-on-wet style, made famous on his hit TV Series The Joy of Painting is where layers of wet paint are applied on top of each other allows for simple blending with a realistic finish.
The auction due to end on Sunday, June 6, currently stands at AED 165,000 ($45,000) after 30 bids.
