An Emirati motorist has been airlifted to safety after being stranded in Abu Dhabi’s Al Faya desert.
The National Search and Rescue Centre, in coordination with the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters, launched the search and rescue mission after the 62-year-old was reported missing.
The man, who is said to suffer from a heart condition, has undergone health checks at the Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City.
