UAE President, Indonesian counterpart discuss bilateral ties

The UAE's President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his Indonesian counterpart Joko Widodo held a phone call to discuss bilateral relations and ways to enhance ties.

The two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to ongoing collaboration aimed at advancing economic, trade and investment ties.

They also reviewed various regional and international issues of mutual interest.

During the call, Sheikh Mohamed congratulated Widodo on Mubadala Energy's recent natural gas discovery in Indonesia, and expressed hope that this would contribute to the development and welfare of the Indonesian people.

The Indonesian President acknowledged the robust economic ties between the UAE and Indonesia, and conveyed his gratitude to Sheikh Mohamed for his constant support in enhancing bilateral relations.
