UAE National Guard rescues 24 after tanker collision

Twenty-four crew members of an oil tanker named ADALYNN were evacuated by the UAE’s National Coast Guard after it collided with another ship in the Gulf of Oman.

The incident took place 24 nautical miles off the coast of the UAE, with the crew moved to Khorfakkan Port in search and rescue boats.

British maritime security firm Ambrey earlier reported that the cause of the incident was not security related.
