UAE leaders congratulate Biden, Harris on winning US elections

The UAE leaders have congratulated US President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris on winning the US elections.

The UAE's President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan commended the strategic and historic relations that bind both countries and peoples.

He also highlighted the UAE's keenness to boost these relations in various fields in the best interest of the two nations.

"We look forward to strengthening our five-decade enduring and strategic relations," His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, wrote on Twitter.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, also wished Biden and Harris.

"Our sincere wishes for further development and prosperity for the American people. The UAE and USA are friends and allies with a strong historic partnership that we look forward to strengthening together."
