UAE joins Saudi Arabia in celebrating 95th National Day

The UAE is joining Saudi Arabia in celebrating the Kingdom’s 95th National Day on September 23 — a reflection of the deep-rooted ties between the two nations.

These strong fraternal bonds highlight Gulf unity, support joint Arab initiatives and reinforce regional stability and prosperity.

The UAE-Saudi relationship, forged by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and King Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, evolved into a full strategic partnership under the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia continue to strengthen cooperation across all sectors.

Both countries share common positions on key regional and global issues, working together to promote peace and development.

Economic ties remain robust, with UAE-Saudi non-oil trade reaching AED 91 billion in the first half of 2025, while in 2024, figures exceeded AED 151.5 billion.

Saudi Arabia’s rapid progress under Vision 2030 is also making headlines, with the IMF raising its growth forecast to 3.6 per cent this year, driven by a rebound in oil output and strong non-oil sector performance.
