The Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) has unveiled gold and silver commemorative coins to mark five years since Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) officially opened its doors.

The CBUAE has issued 10 gold coins and 500 silver coins to mark the occasion.

One side of the gold coin will feature the image of MBZUAI, alongside 2020-2025, while the reverse side bears the UAE national emblem, encircled by the name “Central Bank of the UAE” in Arabic and English.

The design also includes the inscription “Power from Knowledge to Serve” surrounded by the name “Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence” in both Arabic and English, as well as the University’s logo.

Each coin weighs 50gms and will be available for sale at CBUAE and the university.

The silver coin will feature the same design, with its reverse side will bear the value of "AED50".

The move marks the university's fifth‑anniversary and celebrates the UAE’s position as a global leader in innovation and advanced technology.
