UAE condemns terror attack on Saudi airport

WAM

The UAE has condemned the Houthi militia’s attack on an airport in Saudi Arabia.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation said the latest incident is further evidence of the rebels’ efforts to undermine regional security.

The UAE has expressed solidarity with Saudi Arabia and reiterated support for its measures to tackle extremism.

Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr Anwar Gargash took to Twitter to highlight how the Houthis have undermined the UN's political work.

Twenty-six people were injured when a projectile fired by the Houthis hit the arrivals hall of Abha International Airport.
