At least nine people were killed and over 20 injured, after a car bomb exploded outside a popular cafe packed with football fans watching the Euro 2024 final.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) expressed its strong rejection of all forms of violence aimed at undermining security and stability.

The ministry also extended its condolences to the government and people of Somalia and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
