Over 10 million meals have been packed in record time to be sent to families in Gaza during a community drive held by The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI) at Dubai's Exhibition Centre on Sunday.

Organised in collaboration with Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, the campaign witnessed an overwhelming registration of over 20,000 people, although announcing the need for only 2,000 volunteers to help pack the meals.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, thanked all participants for this outstanding achievement, highlighting that it is a "profound demonstration of the love the people of the UAE have for Palestine and its people".

He also added that the UAE will continue to support the Palestinian people and their cause.

During the campaign, each team of volunteers took part in packing 90 boxes every 30 minutes, all filled with essential aid supplied including rice, pasta, and canned goods.

Speaking to ARN News, Dr. Fuzan Alkhalidi‏, Director of Programs and Initiatives at MBRGI, broke down the amount of food aid in each box:

He also highlighted that MBRGI will continue to launch similar initiatives to support Palestinians in Gaza.

The initiative also invited young participants to play a major role in sharing heartfelt messages to be sent to Gaza.

Transportation of the food packages and letters are set to depart through the Mohammed bin Rashid Humanitarian Ship.

Speaking to ARN News, Mohammed AlShareef, spokesperson for Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, explained the timeline to deliver the aid to Gaza:

On any upcoming plans under Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, AlShareef revealed potential plans to deliver solar units and temporary shelters to extend humanitarian efforts.
