UAE approves over AED 2.5 billion in housing support for citizens

The UAE Cabinet, chaired by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has approved 3,567 housing decisions for Emirati citizens in 2025, valued at more than AED 2.54 billion.

These approvals, under the Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme, include grants from President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, as well as government loans and financing decisions.

In the fourth quarter alone, 599 decisions worth AED 478 million were issued.

Officials say the initiative reflects the leadership’s commitment to providing quality housing and enhancing family stability for citizens.
