UAE announces 832 new cases of COVID-19, 4 deaths

The UAE has announced 832 new cases of COVID-19, taking the overall tally in the country to 24,190.

During a press briefing, Dr. Amna Al Dahak Al Shamsi, the official spokesperson for the UAE Government, said more than 37,844 coronavirus tests were carried out across the UAE.

It was also confirmed that four people have died from the virus, bringing the total death toll to 224.

Meanwhile, 1,065 people have recovered from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 9,577 in the UAE.

She added that the number of active cases are 14,389.
