UAE announces 532 new cases of COVID-19, 1,288 recoveries

The UAE has announced 532 new cases of COVID-19, taking the overall tally in the country to 53,577.

According to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), more than 49,000 coronavirus tests were carried out across the UAE.

The ministry has also confirmed that one more person has died from the virus, bringing the total death toll to 328.

Meanwhile, 1,288 people have recovered from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 43,570.

This means there are currently 9,679 active cases in the country.
