UAE announces 502 new cases of COVID-19, 8 deaths

The UAE has announced 502 new cases of COVID-19, taking the overall tally in the country to 16,240.

According to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), more than 33,000 coronavirus tests were carried out across the UAE.

It was also confirmed that eight people have died from the virus, bringing the total death toll to 165.

Meanwhile, 213 people have recovered from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 3,572 in the UAE.
