UAE announces 289 new cases of COVID-19, 1 death

The UAE has announced 289 new cases of COVID-19, taking the overall tally in the country to 56,711 .

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHaP) said more than 46,000 coronavirus tests were carried out nationwide in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 1 more person has died from the virus, bringing the total death toll to 338.

As many as 469 people have recovered from the virus, making the total number of recoveries 48,917 in the country.

There are now 7,456 active cases of COVID-19 across the UAE.
