The UAE is 100 per cent ready for Expo 2020 Dubai where an "unprecedented experience" awaits the world.

That's according to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, who reviewed the final preparations at the site, with just one month to go for the event.

"The UAE is looking forward to welcoming people from 191 countries," Sheikh Mohammed said on Twitter.

"The event will go down in history for the ideas and inventions that will benefit humanity for years to come," he added.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces also took to Twitter to mark the one-month countdown to the event.

"The event builds upon our nation’s longstanding history as a facilitator of cultural dialogue and exchange, said Sheikh Mohamed.
