Traffic is likely to be affected around Al Badia and Ras Al Khor areas on Monday as the first ever Dubai Women's Cycle Tour gets underway.

The participants will kick start a 99-km ride from Dubai Festival City (DFC) at 9:30 am and end at Nshama's Town Square near Al Qudra Lake by 12:15 pm.

In an update on Twitter, Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has shared a detailed map of the routes that will be affected.

This will be the inaugural race of the four-day championship that ends on Thursday.

The following days will include a 91-km ride from Dubai Festival City to The Springs, a 90-km race from Wadi Hatta Park to Hatta Dam and end with a 107-km chase from Dubai Festival City and back on the last day.
