Public parking spots in Sharjah will be free to use during the Eid Al Fitr holidays.

Taking to their official social media handles, the Sharjah Municipality announced that drivers will not have to pay for public parking from "the first to the third day of Eid".

Meanwhile, seven-day paid parking zones, which are marked with a blue sign, will not be free.

The exact start of Eid Al Fitr will be confirmed by the UAE's moon sighting committee today.

Earlier, Dubai and Abu Dhabi had announced free parking during Eid holidays.
