Ras Al Khaimah Police have released the details of a mountain search and rescue mission that saved two injured European climbers.
A husband and wife in their 30s got into trouble while they were climbing.
They were bruised and were suffering from exhaustion.
Search and rescue teams from Ras Al Khaimah Police's air corps flew a helicopter to the scene after receiving a call for help.
The couple received treatment and were flown to a hospital.
Colonel Saeed Al Yamahi, head of the Air Wing Department of the Ras Al Khaimah Police, called for trekkers and climbers to be vigilant and to make sure that they have the right equipment in case they run into difficulty.
