H.H. Sheikh Mohamed offers condolences to Vienna attack victims

WAM

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has expressed his deepest condolences to Austria's Chancellor following the Vienna terrorist attack.

Four people were killed by gunmen in the Austrian capital on Monday night.

During a phone call with Chancellor Sebastian Kurz, Sheikh Mohamed offered his sympathies to the victims and strongly denounced the attacks.

His Highness said such acts aimed to destabilise security and stability, in contravention of religious and human values and principles.

Sheikh Mohamed also posted on social media, stating "We stand united with Austria in its fight against extremism and look forward to expanding joint cooperation on this front."

Chancellor Kurtz thanked Sheikh Mohamed and wished the UAE further progress and prosperity.
