His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and the UAE's Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister, has reviewed ways to expand ties with Kuwaiti Defence Minister Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah.

Both sides explored ways to build new bridges of cooperation in several fields while discussing key regional and international developments.

Sheikh Hamdan highlighted the continued collaboration between the two nations across all fields under the leadership of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

Hailing their historic ties, the Crown Prince of Dubai added that "the UAE and Kuwait are brothers forever. We look forward with confidence to a future of shared dreams and an unwavering determination to build a better tomorrow".

Extending a message of appreciation from the UAE President, Sheikh Hamdan also noted that "Kuwait and its people are, and will always be, in our hearts: a fountain of nobility and beacon of wisdom”.

He further reaffirmed the longstanding partnership between the UAE and Kuwait, alongside their commitment to "strengthening solidarity within the GCC".

The meeting was held on the sidelines of the UAE-Kuwait Media Forum, in line with the week-long celebrations held in the UAE to mark historic bilateral ties between the two countries.
