Fire breaks out at Al Reem Island construction site

Abu Dhabi Police and the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority have responded to a fire that broke out on Tuesday afternoon at a building under construction on Al Reem Island.

Authorities said teams were deployed to the scene and worked to bring the blaze under control, while the surrounding area was evacuated as a precaution. Residents and the public were urged to stay away to allow emergency crews full access.

Officials stressed that updates would be issued through official channes only, urging the public not to circulate unverified information or share videos online.

No details were immediately released regarding injuries or the cause of the fire.
