Emirati delegation visits Christchurch mosques hit by attack

A UAE delegation has visited the two mosques in Christchurch where at least 50 people were killed in a terror attack last week.

They expressed solidarity with the people and the government of New Zealand, and praised the country’s response to the incident.

The delegation, led by Dr. Ali Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the counter-terrorism centre, Hedayah also met the families of some of the victims as well as those who were injured in the attacks.

Funerals for the victims got underway on Wednesday.
