Emirates Red Crescent supports refugees in Mali

The Emirates Red Crescent {ERC) is supporting refugees and internally displaced persons in Mali. According to national news agency WAM, the UAE agency has partnered up with international organisations to carry out projects in Mali’s healthcare, educational and services sector. The projects will benefit around 28,000 children as well as pregnant women and newborns. The ERC has also supported citizens and refugees in the Malian desert by providing them with thousands of tonnes of basic food items.
