Emirates cancels flights to US due to severe weather conditions

Emirates Airline has announced the cancellation of several flights heading to the United States starting Saturday due to the "anticipated severe impact of Storm Fern across parts of the US".

In a statement posted on its official website, Emirates stated that the following flights between Dubai and the US will be cancelled from January 24 to January 26:

- EK203/25th Jan ‑ Dubai to New York
- EK204/25th Jan – New York to Dubai
- EK201 /25th Jan – Dubai to New York
- EK202/25th Jan – New York to Dubai
- EK205/25th Jan – Milan to New York
- EK206/25th Jan – New York to Milan
- EK203/26th Jan ‑ Dubai to New York
- EK204/26th Jan – New York to Dubai
- EK209/25th Jan – Athens to Newark
- EK210/25th Jan – Newark to Athens
- EK221/24th Jan – Dubai to Dallas
- EK222 /24th Jan – Dallas to Dubai
- EK231/25th Jan – Dubai to Washington
- EK232/ 25th Jan – Washington to Dubai

The airline added that "customers connecting through Dubai on the above cancelled flights will not be accepted for travel at their point of origin".

Travellers are advised to contact their travel agencies or the Emirates office for rebooking options.

"We apologise for any inconvenience caused to our customers. We continue to monitor situation closely," the airline added.
