Emirates Airline has temporarily suspended operations to Hong Kong and Shenzhen as Super Typhoon Ragasa sets off storm alerts across East and Southeast Asia.
In a statement posted on its official website, Emirates said all flights between Dubai and Hong Kong will be cancelled on September 23 and 24, and service EK381 from Hong Kong to Dubai suspended on September 25.
Services to Shenzhen will be cancelled on September 23, while flights shuttle services between Hong Kong and Bangkok will be suspended on both days.
Passengers "connecting through Dubai with final destinations Hong Kong and Shenzhen will not be accepted for travel at their point of origin until further notice".
Travellers are advised to contact their travel agencies or Emirates office for rebooking options.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused to our customers. We continue to monitor situation closely," the airline added.
