Eid Al Fitr holidays have been announced for the public sector in the UAE.
In a Tweet on Monday, the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) said that government employees will be off from Ramadan 29 (Friday, May 22) until Shawwal 3.
This means that the holidays will run until Monday, May 25, or Tuesday, May 26, depending on when the crescent moon is sighted.

In 2019, the UAE had unified the holiday calendar for the public and private sector workers.
