Eid Al Adha likely to fall on July 9

The first day of Eid Al Adha is likely to fall on Saturday, July 9, the International Astronomical Centre announced.

Mohammad Odeh, Chairman of the International Astronomical Centre, said that the month of Dhul Hijjah is likely to begin on Wednesday, June 29.

According to the UAE’s official holidays calendar, Arafat Day, which is marked on the day before Eid Al Adha, is also a day off.

This means residents will enjoy a four-day holiday, starting on July 8.
