Dubai Media Office

An AED 100 million boost has been announced for the 'Edge of Life' campaign, which aims to rescue five million children from hunger and malnutrition worldwide.

The contribution comes from the Hussain Sajwani – DAMAC Foundation, whose support was confirmed through an agreement signed with the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives.

Launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the campaign seeks to raise at least AED 1 billion for sustainable programmes that tackle childhood hunger worldwide.

The initiative invites individuals and institutions to contribute, working alongside global partners including UNICEF, Save the Children, the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation, and Action Against Hunger.

Donations can be made through the campaign website, via the toll-free call centre at 800 4999, by SMS, through the DubaiNow app, YallaGive.com, or the community contributions platform Jood.ae.
