The UAE’s first centre specialising in healthcare services for the elderly will come up in Dubai.
The 250-bed VITA Elderly Care Complex will cater to the needs of Emiratis and expatriates over the age of 65.
Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) and the healthcare investment firm VITA have joined forces to set up the complex.
It will be a key component of DHCC's Phase 2, located in Al Jaddaf, overlooking Dubai Creek.
Once completed, the facility will become the centre of excellence for geriatric care in the country.
Its services will include an Outpatient Geriatric Medical Centre, Advanced Nursing Home (Long-term Care), Alzheimer's Centre, Elderly Day Care Centre, Rehabilitation Facility, Ventilated Care Centre, Home Care Centre and Home Health Monitoring.
The project supports Dubai’s vision to establish itself as a leading healthcare destination.
