A sports facility in Dubai has been ordered to close for a month for not complying with COVID-19 precautionary measures.

The Dubai Sports Council took action against the facility in cooperation with Dubai Economy.

They also cancelled a sports event at the same entity for violating the rules related to wearing face masks and maintain social distancing.

The violations were detected during periodic inspection visits to fitness centres, sports clubs and training academies.
