A UAE media delegation will visit Kuwait in early February, highlighting the close and historic ties between the two countries.

Organised by the Dubai Press Club, the visit includes a UAE-Kuwait Media Celebration aimed at strengthening media cooperation, and will be attended by Kuwait’s Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Abdulrahman Al‑Mutairi.

The UAE delegation will include more than one 100 senior media figures, including editors, journalists, content creators and producers.

The event will also host leading Kuwaiti media professionals, writers and opinion leaders, reflecting the strong ties, mutual respect and shared vision between the two nations.

Mona Ghanem AlMarri, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council and President of the Dubai Press Club, highlighted the pioneering role of Kuwaiti media in shaping the Gulf’s media landscape and recalled the long‑standing cooperation between the two countries, even before the founding of the UAE.

During the event, the Dubai Press Club will honour Kuwaiti media figures who have contributed to strengthening bilateral cooperation, particularly those involved in the success of the Arab Media Award.

The programme also includes the signing of a memorandum of understanding between Dubai Media Incorporated and Kuwait Television to enhance joint media production and exchange expertise, along with a youth‑focused panel discussion titled 'Media and the Voice of Youth: The UAE and Kuwait'.

Dubai Press Club Director Maryam Al Mulla said the visit injects fresh momentum into the strong partnership between UAE and Kuwaiti media communities, while members of the delegation noted that such initiatives reinforce the deep bonds and support a shared path towards a prosperous future.
