Dubai Police return $9,000 to Bulgarian tourist who lost cash at airport

A Bulgarian tourist flying through DXB was pleasantly surprised when Dubai Police returned a bag she had lost before boarding her flight.

The bag had contained $9,150 (nearly AED 34,000) in cash and some important documents.

Brigadier Hamouda Belsuwaida Al Ameri, Acting Director of the General Department of Airports Security, said his team shipped the lost bag after verifying the owner's identity and following all legal steps.
