Dubai plate auction raises AED30 million

The proceeds of the 109th Open Auction for Distinctive Vehicle Number Plates held by Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) exceeded AED29.938 million.

The highest amount was fetched by Plate AA90, which went for AED2.74 million, followed by Plate M73 which sold for AED2.36 million.

Plate W55555 brought in  AED1.71 million, while Plate X800 reached AED1.02 million.  

The RTA offered 90 plates for bidding in the auction comprising of two, three, four and five-digits bearing AA-I-J-K-L-M-N-O-P-Q-R-S-T-U-V-W-X-Y-Z codes.
