An official at Dubai Municipality has been honoured for his honesty after he refused to accept a bribe.
Rashid Al Muhairi rejected the offer of AED 250,000 to allow "illegal entry and disposal of water" at Jebel Ali sewage station.
Dawoud Al Hajri, Director General of Dubai Municipality, applauded the officer for his integrity.
