A free zone in Dubai has been named the best in the world. That's according to the British newspaper, The Financial Times’ fDi Magazine, who voted Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), Free Zone of the Year. The area fought off steep competition from Katowice Special Economic Zone in Poland, and districts in Morocco, the Philippines, the Dominican Republic and the US. More than 11,000 member companies from over 170 countries are based in DMCC.
