His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, attended the opening of the Dubai Emiratisation Forum on Thursday.

The event is being held under the theme 'Solid Partnerships for Sustainable Development' at the One and Only One Za’abeel Hotel.

Sheikh Ahmed said the forum serves as a strategic platform that supports the development of national talent, strengthens partnerships between the public and private sectors and educational institutions, and enhances the competitiveness of Emiratis in the labour market.

The forum was attended by senior officials, including Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori, Chairman of the Emirati Human Resources Development Council in Dubai, Abdullah Ali bin Zayed Al Falasi, Director General of the Dubai Government Human Resources Department, along with representatives from government entities, private sector companies and academic institutions.

During the forum, the Council launched the 'Dubai Ambition' initiative, aiming to employ 5,000 Emiratis in the private sector this year and provide training programmes for 20,000 Emirati students and graduates.

Sheikh Ahmed also met with graduates of the Chief Financial Officer Programme and partners of the 'Tomouh Dubai' initiative, as the forum brought stakeholders together to advance Dubai’s human development goals.
