Cyclists and e-scooter users in Dubai stand a chance to win cash prizes as part of a new campaign to reward responsible riders.

The Roads and Transport Authority's (RTA) 'Safe Rider' initiative will run for two days where 20 riders will be randomly awarded AED 1,000 in cash.

In order to qualify, participants must adhere to all traffic safety rules.

The initiative was launched as part of the Gulf Traffic Week 2023, which runs until March 12.
