CEO of Dubai Airports, Paul Griffiths, has stated that the aviation hub's recovery has reached 40 per cent of normal traffic movement as it strongly recovers from the ongoing regional developments.

Speaking to Dubai Eye 103.8's Business Breakfast show on Wednesday, Griffiths noted that over a million passengers have been handled in the past 17 days, adding on its significant operational figures:

The airport has worked with several entities in the government, aviation, and hospitality sectors around the world to ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers and staff, alongside maintaining constant communication with all parties.

Although operating at a reduced capacity, Griffiths highlighted that the overall response has been exceptional at Dubai Airports:

The Dubai Airports CEO also emphasised the interdependent relationship between the aviation hub and the city, stating that "the airport wouldn't exist in the form that it exists without the support of the city":

In a message to the wider public, Griffiths has advised passengers to 'travel with confidence' as the safety of customers and staff remains the hub's top priority:

As the Eid-Al Fitr approaches, the airport will continue to maintain its operations, with Griffiths noting that there should be "no difficulties" in the upcoming period:
