Driver escapes unharmed after car swept away in Fujairah flash floods

A driver has managed to escape "without any injuries" before his car was swept away by flash floods in the wadis of Fujairah's Al-Halah area of Daba.

In a post on social media platform X, Fujairah Police said the incident occurred when the driver attempted to cross the wadi even during unstable weather conditions.

The authority reminded motorists about the risks involved in crossing the wadis when the water levels are rising.

They also advised the public to exercise caution, and to cooperate with the relevant authorities to enhance public security and safety.
